St Pauls, Bristol

This was a 4th year design project based in St Pauls, central Bristol. This area is one of the most deprived in the city but it also has a very distinct identity. My scheme aimed at using the current strength of the area in the creative industries to provide educational and business opportunities. By connecting the area to wifi and providing spaces for individuals looking for cheap places to work or set up a business, the area can begin to bring in visitors and money.

An interactive screen, using MediaMesh technology, becomes the main focus in the plaza, allowing the creative work to be displayed publicly. This can also be used for film viewings, interactive debates, market advertisements or anything else the future will think of.
